LED Strip Lights & Pendant Lights + Turkey Cooperation Story with Turkish Lighting Partner
Our partner for this project is a local lighting importer and wholesaler in Turkey. The company mainly supplies lighting products for home decoration, commercial complexes and hotel projects, with goods distributed to building material markets and construction sites across numerous Turkish cities.
Referred by our long-term Turkish client, this new partner first reviewed our product strength and export cases on our official website. After face-to-face communication at overseas industry exhibitions, they fully recognized our product quality and customized services, and finally reached the cooperation. The client purchased two product lines: flexible LED strip lights and luxury decorative pendant lights, shipped in full containers. The total order value reached 152,000 US dollars. The goods are prepared for new house renovations and commercial space renewal across local regions.
Turkey covers a vast territory. Coastal areas feature high salinity in the air, while inland regions see sharp temperature differences. The country is also humid and rainy in spring and summer. Combined with local purchasing habits for residential and engineering projects, the client put forward clear requirements:
•All LED strip lights were treated with moisture-proof and salt-spray resistant processing for circuits and bodies, to adapt to humid coastal conditions. The products ensure no short circuit, overheating or aging during long-term operation. Metal frames of pendant lights adopted anti-rust baking finish to prevent oxidation and paint peeling under temperature changes and humid environments.
•LED strip lights are available in a complete range of color temperatures, suitable for ambient lighting in residences and basic illumination for stores. All pendant lights feature exquisite workmanship with standardized hardware parts and glass shades, which are easy to install and resistant to deformation and loosening after long-term use.
•To meet the demands of bulk engineering procurement and offline retail, we support private label OEM service. Two packaging options are provided: simple cartons for engineering projects and gift boxes for retail sales. Given the tight construction schedule of ongoing projects, the goods were arranged for sea shipment in batches with strictly controlled production lead times to ensure timely stock preparation and construction.
Three practical challenges emerged during production and container loading: First, pendant lights are bulky and irregular in shape, while LED strip lights are long and flexible. The huge differences in size and weight led to low space utilization in standard loading, leaving plenty of empty space and increasing unit logistics costs.
Second, glass components of pendant lights are fragile, and wires of strip lights are vulnerable to extrusion and moisture. Rough ocean transportation and humid container environment would easily cause glass breakage and circuit failure of strip lights without proper protection. Third, the goods needed to be delivered to warehouses in Istanbul, Ankara and other Turkish cities. Different models and specifications required separate packaging and labeling, which meant heavy sorting work for the client. Besides, several revisions to packaging prints during production tended to disrupt the original production schedule.
Our sales, warehouse and design teams worked together to deliver targeted solutions: Warehouse staff calculated loading ratios repeatedly. We reserved protective space for large pendant lights and filled gaps with coiled LED strip lights. Mixed loading of different products maximized container space for full-load shipment. Corner protectors and shockproof foam were added for glass shades, and each set of strip lights was sealed in moisture-proof bags to avoid damage and dampness during transit.
Goods were packed by destination warehouse and attached with exclusive sorting codes for quick warehousing and distribution. We assigned a dedicated contact for packaging revisions. Production was arranged in batches after final confirmation, flexibly adjusting schedules to guarantee on-time delivery.
Complete set of customs clearance documents were provided upon shipment, and we cooperated with the client for port inspection. After order completion, we followed up on product sales and project operation 1 month and 3 months after arrival. 24/7 online after-sales support is available, with free replacement of accessories for non-artificial quality issues.
The client expressed high satisfaction after project implementation. The stability of LED strip lights, anti-corrosion performance and appearance of pendant lights exceeded expectations, resulting in an extremely low after-sales repair rate for engineering projects.
The client has confirmed regular reorder plans and prioritizes our company for new product procurement. Meanwhile, they have recommended our products to local peers in Turkey, helping both sides steadily expand market share in the Middle East lighting industry.
