This partner is a professional local hardware security manufacturer in the Philippines, specializing in the R&D and mass production of hotel smart locks and residential smart door locks. Its products are widely supplied to local chain hotels, residential real estate projects, building material stores and supermarkets.

The cooperation was established through multiple channels. The client was referred by our long-term local partner in the Philippines. They thoroughly reviewed our corporate strength, project references and production qualifications via our official website. Combined with in-person discussions at local industry exhibitions in the Philippines, they fully recognized our customized automatic production line solutions and professional services, and officially launched the project cooperation.

The client invested in two brand-new dedicated automatic production lines for smart locks, fully equipped with mass-production facilities for hotel locks, including vertical material mixing and storage units, precision stamping machines, full-automatic assembly machines, lock body buckle assembly equipment and integrated automatic labeling machines. One line is dedicated to hotel smart locks and the other for residential smart door locks. The total value of the project reaches 148,000 US dollars.

Taking into account the local climate, export standards and mass production requirements in the Philippine lock manufacturing market, the client put forward refined and high-standard requirements for the production equipment. The Philippines features a tropical marine climate with year-round high temperature, high humidity and severe salt spray erosion from sea winds. Therefore, the client required the entire production line and material handling systems to deliver excellent anti-corrosion and anti-rust performance, so as to adapt to the humid coastal workshop environment and ensure long-term stable operation of the equipment.

In view of the strict precision requirements for core components of hotel locks and smart locks, the production lines are equipped with high-precision terminal stamping and metal forming machines. Compatible with various specifications of lock parts, the equipment ensures uniform dimensions and precise fitting, so that the door locks can reach the standard service life for opening, closing and sensor unlocking.

Besides, the client demanded full-process automated production, realizing integrated operations ranging from material mixing and storage, metal stamping and forming, automatic lock body assembly and buckle pressing to finished product labeling. This helps greatly cut labor reliance and improve mass production efficiency.

In addition, the production lines were installed in renovated old workshops with limited floor space. The client required the production lines to feature compact structure, small footprint, simple operation and easy maintenance. Meanwhile, a short delivery cycle was requested to guarantee the scheduled commissioning of the new lines.

We encountered a number of practical challenges during project communication, equipment manufacturing and on-site implementation. Firstly, the workshop has limited space. Standard conventional production equipment is bulky, and traditional layout would result in overlong and scattered lines, making on-site installation impossible.

Secondly, the client required linked automatic operation across all working procedures. Material feeding, metal stamping, lock assembly, buckle fixation and product labeling need to start and stop synchronously. Ordinary standalone machines cannot realize overall line linkage, leading to poor production continuity.

Thirdly, locks for hotels and homes come with components in diverse sizes. The humid workshop environment may cause rust on small parts. Mixed production of multi-specification components tends to result in material jamming, assembly misalignment and poor fitting, which seriously affects the yield of finished products.

Our technical team developed tailored solutions to address all on-site difficulties. Based on on-site measured dimensions provided remotely, we redesigned the overall layout and optimized equipment structures. Conventional models were upgraded to compact versions. We adjusted the discharging direction of stamping machines, revamped vertical mixing and storage equipment for space saving, and shortened the frame of assembly machines. The two production lines were properly arranged and installed to make the most of the limited workshop space.

A customized integrated intelligent electric control system was deployed to support one-click startup, synchronous linkage, automatic operation and real-time fault alarm for the whole line. The problem of disconnected procedures caused by standalone equipment was completely solved, greatly enhancing production continuity and automation level.

We also upgraded custom tooling and fixtures and optimized component positioning structures. After multiple rounds of sample testing, commissioning and adjustment, the lines are fully compatible with mixed production of hotel lock and smart lock components in various specifications, ensuring stable mass production and high machining precision.

After all equipment was manufactured and delivered, our professional engineers provided on-site services including free installation, overall commissioning and operator training. We offered one-on-one guidance on equipment operation, daily maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure stable mass production and proficient operation by local staff.
